Love
A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
I don't think true love is displayed throughout the play. The kind of love that is displayed is love of the eyes. Romeo and Juliet both fall in love with each other before they even talk to each other. Romeo's love for Rosaline is also based on looks and it doesn't last. Romeo and Juliet think they love each other truly, but they do not because it is based upon looks. Nurse's love for Juliet is a family love because she raised Juliet. I think the love between Nurse and Juliet is much more true and honest than Romeo's love for Juliet.
"If I profane with my unworthiest hand This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this, my lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss." -Romeo speaking to Juliet

Malice
Desire to inflict injury, harm, or suffering on another, either because of a hostile impulse or out of deep-seated meanness. Malice is displayed all throughout the story. Tybalt has malice for the Montegue family and especially for Romeo. The Capulet and Montegue families have tension towards each other throughout the whole story. In his malice and anger Tybalt kills Mercutio and starts a large ordeal in the story. When Mercutio is killed, Romeo grows very angry and kills Tybalt. I think Tybalt is the most malicious character throughout the story.
"Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries That thou hast done me; therefore turn and draw." -Tybalt speaking to Romeo

Trust
Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
Many times throughout the story trust is shown. Juliet trusts Romeo with her life and vice versa. Juliet also has faith in Nurse. Nurse and Juliet often have converstations that Juliet would not have around her mother. Romeo also trusts Friar Laurence. When Romeo wanted to be married to Juliet but wanted to keep the marriage quiet he went to Friar Laurence. Friar Laurence does not tell anybody and he marries them that day. I think that Romeo also trusts Benvolio very because of their friendship.
"O, she knew well Thy love did read by rote and could not spell. But come, young waverer, come. go with me, In one repsect I'll thy assistant be; For this alliance may so happy prove, To turn your households rancour to pure love." -Friar Laurence speaking to Romeo and his and Juliets marriage.
